Edit a panel

Change an existing panel's presentation or data configuration.

Requires: Write access to the dashboard and panel editing enabled in the instance.

  1. Open the dashboard and locate the panel.
  2. Open its settings using Edit Panel.
  3. Adjust the title and visualization settings. Check the selected series and the person/date controls when changing what is displayed.
  4. Confirm the panel dialog and save the dashboard.
  5. Select a known person and date range, then compare with a source submission.

For a different questionnaire or calculation, creating a new panel with the wizard is usually the clearest starting point. Inspect it before removing the old panel.

Existing panels can contain manually configured data sources. Changing their data configuration can change whose answers are displayed. Retain the intended person and time filters.

Use a panel's Duplicate or Copy to dashboard action when reusing a working configuration; check the destination dashboard's controls and access rights.
